AXYZ claims demand has risen significantly for the A2MC controller since its release
Routing solutions provider AXYZ International has experienced a rise in demand for its machines following the introduction of the A2MC machine controller.
As well as providing existing AXYZ routers owners with new features, the firm says the AM2C is enabling the supply of customised routing solutions with the controller included as standard—as well as allowing online access to additional peripheral devices.
The firm claims the A2MC controller offers the highest possible control capabilities in comparison with similar systems. It delivers faster and smoother motion based on the Seven Segment Velocity (S-Curve) trajectories—which AXYZ says leads to less ‘bounce’ and vibration when changing speeds.
The controller is NC code-compatible and will work with all popular CAD/CAM packages. In addition, it is network-based and will connect with AXYZ router owners’ previous networks—meaning both existing and new customers can enjoy the benefits of the controller.
AXYZ stresses the ‘learning curve’ for the controller is easier as it functions similarly to the existing AMC controller. The firm also claims there is no limits to the size and complexity of work they can handle, with tests on 3D surfacing files over 80MB proving successful.
With manufacturers putting so much emphasis on the ease of transaction when using the new A2MC controller, this could be a key point for customers. Purchasing new kit can prove time costly, but if the controller is as easy to use as AXYZ claims, the firm could expect demand to rise further as more companies look to invest.
