Dataton in Watchout showcase

Swedish image processing and control specialist, Dataton, demonstrated its Watchout digital signage display software at InfoComm MEA 2012.

Hosted at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates, the event took place from October 14th to 18th. The firm was keen to showcase the latest features of its software, aiming to demonstrate to current users what else can be achieved by using the product.

Watchout is a fully scalable, software-based system that claims to not require proprietary hardware. Dataton says it ‘orchestrates’ still images, animations, graphics, video, sound and live feeds into a single show across multiple display areas, either soft-edge blended or scattered.

Dataton also hosted two seminars on multi-image projection techniques at the event. Presented by marketing director, Fredrik Svahnberg, one of the sessions was part of the hospitality seminar, while the other contributed to the InfoComm University programme—two key events that proved particularly popular with visitors to the event.
