GPT extends Agfa wide-format range offer

Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) has extended its discount offer on the Agfa Graphics range of Anapurna UV-curable inkjet printers.

Due to the success of the promotion, launched in August last year, the reduced rate will continue to apply to the Agfa Anapurna Mw six-colour with white into 2013.

“An Agfa UV cure printer can transform a printing company or sign-maker into a full service graphics production organisation,” says Stuart Cole, general manager of GPT.

No other UV-curable printer out there of this sort of nature, quality and speed is available in this price range

Capable of printing onto both roll-fed media, and direct to rigid substrates up to 50mm thick, the Agfa machines can generate huge revenues, and all-important profit.

GPT envisages bringing the Agfa range to a broader cross-section of the market with the extended offer, in times when clients want to invest, but also want to keep spend down.

“We decided to run the offer because we found that a number of businesses are very interested in this sort of equipment but it is simply out of their budget range,” says Cole, adding: “No other UV-curable printer out there of this sort of nature, quality and speed is available in this price range.

“Attitudes have changed over the years in accordance to shrinking budgets, and everyone is looking for a bargain. We want to try and match that demand and cater to requirements as much as possible.”
