Elephant Print and Display drives diversification
Digital print company, Elephant Print and Display, has announced that Mark Crook has joined the firm in the role of director—in a move the company believes will help it diversify into new market areas
Crook, who has spent over 30 years in the printing and graphics industry, will bring with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, of both the creative and pre-press departments. His background will allow the East Sussex-based company to diversify into new areas of communication, such as heavyweight graphic deign, audio visual presentations and online interactive media.
“I’m so pleased that Mark has chosen to join the business and he has already allowed Elephant to move into other areas—he is even able to provide cover for our Indigo press, which is a huge bonus,” explains director, Jason Gadd.
Crook’s previous positions include roles at Erreys printers group and Mint Design Associates, as well as freelancing under his own company name, Hippo.
He is also one of the organisers for the Meadowlands Music Festival—a three-day event held in May art Glynde, Sussex. His move to Elephant will allow the firm to also get involved with the popular event.
“Meadowlands is a great event and Elephant are able to provide some really original promotional materials as well as important safety signs for the site,” explains Gadd, adding: “Our participation means the company is associated with a well respected festival, which has become an important part of the local creative community.”
