Signs Express text Santa

Norwich-based Signs Express has been getting into the festive spirit this year, helping to promote ITV’s annual Text Santa campaign that encourages people to donate money to one of six nominated charities

Signs Express (Norwich) has been involved in the production of over 100 self-adhesive ‘Rudy’ graphics, the charity’s reindeer mascot who has been making appearances up and down the country.

The team were faced with the challenge of coming up with a contour-cut graphic of Rudy that could be easily stuck to various surfaces and yet also removed leaving no glue residue.

Paul Baldwin, Signs Express (Norwich) centre manager, explains: “I had just the product for the job after hearing what the requirements for Rudy were. I printed a sample for ITV to prove how simple the material was to use and how effective it is at being removed and re-positioned multiple times.

“They were blown away with the results, both the way the final graphic looked and also the durability and usability of the product, so much so they placed an extra order, which needed to be produced and dispatched the same day to ensure deadlines were met.”

The Christmas campaign is the latest project Sign’s Express has completed for ITV, following a re-brand of many its centres across the UK earlier in the year.

“We’re delighted to get involved in the Text Santa campaign and produce this fun wall graphic, which ultimately will also help raise awareness for such worthy causes,” Baldwin concludes.
