The Prime Minister’s visit came shortly after the company installed a new Zünd G3 L-2500 cutting machine as part of an effort to expand the capacity of its display department.
Following a demonstration of the new machine and a tour of the firm’s facility, the Prime Minister spoke of his admiration for Fine Print and highlighted the company as an example for others to follow.
The Prime Minister enthused: “This is a great business success story, an example of a small business working hard, winning new business and creating jobs.

In response to the Prime Minister’s comments, managing director Dan Bakewell said: “He was very charismatic and surprisingly knowledgeable about print.”
Speaking about the impact the new device has had on business, Bakewell added: “Out of all the investments we've made recently, the Zünd is the one that has really changed our business.
“It's taken us into new areas and the throughput is incredible—we've significantly reduced turnaround times.”
