Visitors to the store can trawl through the BAPE pattern archives to create their own customised unisex t-shirts for adults and children.
T-shirt designs will be printed in-store using Epson’s SureColor SC-F2000 direct-to-garment printer, which the manufacturer claims is capable of printing a single white t-shirt in just 27 seconds.
YR Store creative director, Tim Williams, comments: “Bespoke and customisation are key to our brand’s identity and this collaboration with such a respected streetwear brand like BAPE will allow us to offer our customers something completely different.
Working with Epson technology means we can provide the highest quality product in super-fast time, offering customers a great retail experience and their own unique garment—a collector’s item even”

The special personalisation initiative began on October 24th and will run until Christmas Eve.
Visitors to the Selfridges Birmingham and Manchester stores will also be able to access the same design experience, with items shipped next day for in-store collection or sent by mail.
