The BCF held a workshop at coatings show, Chinacoat 2015 in Shanghai, in November where BCF technical consultant, Peter Collins, discussed the evaluation of colour—just one of the intermediate modules from the 63 courses available from the Coatings Training Institute (CTI).
“The Asian market is a huge potential for coatings education – with many new entrants to the industry hungry for knowledge in these exciting growth markets,” comments Tom Bowtell, chief executive of the BCF.
He adds: “The UK has a great image for delivering quality training and education, and young chemists have a desire to grow both their coatings knowledge, but also their technical English skills so the CTI is a great fit.”
