Granthams was exhibiting for the first time in an effort to raise awareness of its service and speak with the thousands of attendees about its collection of solutions.
This portfolio has recently been expanded to include the new Mimaki UCJV300-160 and UCJV150-160 print-and-cut machines. Coincidently, the new series was handed its UK launch at The Print Show.
Jamie Reader, sales consultant at Granthams, comments: “Having never participated in The Print Show before, we opted to exhibit this year as a learning exercise in the hope we may be able to reach a more diverse audience. We found the show to be a great networking opportunity, and a really diverse mix of exhibitors that gave ourselves and attendees a nice insight into other avenues to consider and explore.
We found The Print Show to be extremely well organised, and the preparation process to be extremely smooth and stress-free compared against other exhibitions we’ve taken part in”
“We found The Print Show to be extremely well organised, and the preparation process to be extremely smooth and stress-free compared against other exhibitions we’ve taken part in. Alongside this, the level of marketing that went into the exhibition was above and beyond.
“We also found that a significant number of the leads we took away from the show were genuine interests with an intention to invest in the near future.”
Reeder also left the door open for a possible appearance at The Print Show 2018, which will return to the NEC in Birmingham, the site of both the 2015 and 2016 editions of the event.
Reeder says: “We’re familiar with the NEC, and know it’s likely to draw a larger crowd. We would like to return, but whether we opt for our own stand or work alongside one of our partners instead is still to be discussed.”
