UK Point of Sale insists companies should pay plenty of attention to POS kit this summer

Trade signage supplier UK Point of Sale (UK POS) has became the latest company to highlight that the Olympics will be a valuable boost to the signage sector.

The firm has been manufacturing POS products for nearly 25 years and says it is continuing to adapt to market trends in order to work with sign-makers to help retailers market their offers. In light of this it has released a tailored product range designed to help sign-makers take advantage of London 2012. UK POS stresses the industry should not neglect the importance of creating and selling new signage packages to their customers with the added leverage of four million additional visitors to the capital during the games.

“Consumers will be subject to ‘promotion overload’ and flexible POS is essential to allow hotels, restaurants and cafés to personalise signage for the sporting season,” comments sales and marketing director at UK POS, Debra Jamieson.

The firm believes hospitality businesses should be looking at POS kit such as banners, posters, leaflet stands and chalkboards in order to draw attention to their products and beat off heavy competition during the Games.
