GTP open days allow customers to view the latest equipment and quiz technology experts on it
Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) has announced that its recently reported boost in business, following its much publicised open day in May, has continued despite a flatlining economy.
The event gave visitors the chance to see the latest wide-format printing solutions. The firm reported that a number of orders were taken both during the open days and in the weeks following, with these relationships continuing to bear fruit as customers seek to expand and diversify their businesses.
As well as the kit itself, GPT says the success of the show was down to representatives from Mimaki, Epson, Agfa, Canon, Wasatch and Shiraz being on hand to offer advice and explain more about the equipment that was on show.
GPT also took the opportunity to show attendees its broad range of media products and how they can be used for a number of applications. On display was the complete Amari roll feed media products, plus Sihl, Intelicoat and its White Box own brand.
GPT general manager, Stuart Cole, says the firm was keen to demonstrate its commitment to customers and their needs, adding: “Our business is all about delivering the right printing solutions for our customers and this means supplying everything, from the right consultancy, the best products and top notch support, training and consumables supply.”
In addition, GPT has announced a number of summer offers from Mimaki, including a number of cashback deals when trading in certain models from the manufacturer and warranty offers. Cole also confirmed there would be more deals throughout the summer months.
Open days are a growing trend in the supply sector and ultimatley offer a valuable opportunity for companies to meet with customers, discuss new ventures and strike deals—something that helps both parties in a stagnant economy.
