Advantech and Mitsubishi say the solution simplifies device installation and maintenance to make digital signage applications more ‘intelligent and connected’
The firms said the idea behind the solution is to simplify device installation and maintenance in order to make digital signage applications more ‘intelligent and connected’.
The complete solution features Advantech’s ARK-DS262 and Mitsubishi’s LM55P1, and is in line with Intel OPS standard.
Advantech’s ARK-DS262 signage solution is an Intel digital signage platform that measures 200 x 119 x 30mm and is powered by a third generation Intel Core i7/i3 with built-in graphics.
Although OPS is an open standard, the performance of third-party modules can sometimes fall short of expectations”
Mitsubishi’s high-specification LCD Displays LM55P1 measure in at 55” and feature both high brightness and contrast LED-backlit panels, as well as a super-narrow 5.7mm bezel that Mitsubishi claims minimizes image content loss.
Peter van Dijk, business development manager at Mitsubishi Electric Europe, comments: “Although OPS is an open standard, the performance of third-party modules can sometimes fall short of expectations.
“However no such uncertainty exists with Advantech products, which have been extensively tested by our factory to ensure reliable performance every time.”
