“There are sign-makers across the country with limited capacity or facilities; they’re a ready-made market for a well-equipped company like us,” explains founder and director, Gerry Poulton.
He says Signwise has been running, ‘24 hours a day for the past month,’ a trend he hopes will continue.
The firms success highlights how having an expansive range of equipment can help you sell direct to trade. The owner picked out Koolkut KK16 finishing equipment from Sagetech as a key part in helping the business to grow, removing production bottle-necks.
Poulton continues: “We’ve used and abused it for four years straight now, at workloads of over 100 sheets a month and it's never needed anything other than replacement blades.”
