Whitchurch-based Signmaster Systems has revealed its recent programme of diversification has made a positive impact on the company’s competitiveness.
With 16 years experience in the wide-format printer market, the company’s managing director Phil George has focussed the company’s product expansion on hardware, software and most recently printable media.
This latter area has been fast growing for the company in the last year, as its partnership with print media technology developer Intercoat has seen its revenues grow exponentially.
“Having supplied media to the sign industry for many years our new association with Intercoat has enabled us to step up to the next level. A wider range of products, with the capability of attracting greater interest in the market place has made us a ‘one stop shop’ for all media requirements,” enthuses George.
Signmaster says the partnership’s key strength lies in the fact that Intercoat has created specific printing profiles for its range of wide-format machinery from the likes of Roland DG, Mimaki, Epson and Mutoh. This has lead to heightened customer demand as a result of better ink efficiency and print quality.
