Jonathan Evitt, founder of new LED tube lighting concept Wandlite, says the product has been very well received by the exhibition and display sector
Shown for the first time at LuxLive in London, the Wandlite is a long-life LED tube light with 360-degree lighting.
Manufactured in Britain to EU standards, the product runs off a standard 12v power supply and can be run independently or off the mains electrical supply.
“We see the exhibition and display industry as a major market for Wandlite, where our research and experience has found a growing need for a robust, lightweight and affordable LED tube light,” Evitt comments.
“It’s not only functional but it’s a visually attractive light so it can be used as an integral part of the display as well as bright-white daylight lighting for internal structures.”

Wandlite tubes, which can be used as a stand-alone light in a tower or plinth, are available in lengths of 400MM, 800mm, 950mm, 1,000mm, 1,250mm, 1,500mm, and 2,000mm.
Evitt adds: “I wanted to create a light tube which is visually attractive as well as producing a vivid and stunning effect, essential in today’s growing and demanding exhibition and display market place.
“In this, the Wandlite really is unique, seeing the potential of the light itself as a design feature rather than providing just the mechanics of lighting.
“As well as being an aesthetic asset to any stand or display, the Wandlite delivers what customers need by way of flexibility, portability, durability, length of life and cost effectiveness.”
