Roland DG’s new fluorescent pink and yellow inks can be combined with other colours to produce a wide range of vivid shades

The new inks, fluorescent pink (Fp) and yellow (Fy), can be combined with Roland DG’s Texart process ink colours to produce hundreds of bright fluorescent colours. The Fluor Colour Library swatch palette can be installed in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, allowing users to easily incorporate fluorescent colours into dye-sublimation output.

We believe the addition of Fluor Ink will not only enhance the versatility of our Texart printers, but greatly expand textile printing possibilities for our users

“We believe the addition of Fluor Ink will not only enhance the versatility of our Texart printers, but greatly expand textile printing possibilities for our users, especially for sports and fashion apparel,” says Yuko Maeda, division president of digital printing market development for Roland DG.

Roland DG showcased the capabilities of the new inks at Drupa with sample textile applications. Available in mid-July will be a configuration of CMYKOrViFpFy for the Texart XT-640 and RT-640 printers with ErgoSoft Roland Edition software RIP.
