The brave Artworks team celebrates raising money for the Children’s Trust

A group of seven staff from the firm took part in a skydive that saw them plunge from 15,000 feet above the Devon countryside before landing safely on the ground, raising £7,300 for the Children's Trust specialist rehabilitation, therapy and care charity in the process.

The group carried out the skydive in memory of Conor Hall, the brother of Artworks staff Kayleigh and Aaron, who passed away three years ago following a moped accident.

Conor suffered severe brain trauma in the accident and passed away following five days in intensive care, although better protection may have saved his life if he had clipped up his helmet before getting on the bike.

Conor’s family are determined to stop other people from suffering in this way and have since launched ‘Clip up for Conor’, a campaign that highlights the importance of wearing a helmet and encourages youngsters to practice higher levels of road safety.

Artworks said in a statement: “It's a cause that's very close to our hearts, so we're delighted that so many Artworks staff have got involved.
